Why Are Babies & Children Across
North America Sleeping So Well?

Dear Parent,

If your baby or toddler is having trouble sleeping – and you’re confused about what you should do about it – then this page is important. I’d like you to take a moment and pay close attention to what I’m about to tell you.

My name is Pam Nease, and I’m your licensed Sleep Sense™ Consultant here in the Okanagan and Kootenay area. My passion (and my job!) is giving parents like you all the tools and information they need to solve their children’s sleep problems... as quickly and easily as possible!

So how can I help you and your family? Let’s find out...

Does Any Of This Sound Familiar?

Even though we don’t know each other personally, I’m fairly sure that you’ve found your way to this website because you’re dealing with one of these very common (and very frustrating) sleep problems:

Check Your child needs to nurse or bottle feed (or use a soother) in order to get to sleep. Of course, whenever that soother falls out, YOU'RE the one who has to go put it back in. I can show you how to break this habit FAST!
Check You are waking up with your child once, twice, three (or more) times each night. The reason? Your little one needs to learn to fall asleep WITHOUT your help. My son’s transformation made such an impact on me that I eventually made the decision to dedicate my professional life to helping families like yours in the Interior of BC.
Check Your child needs to be rocked, bounced, or taken for a car ride in order to nap. Or (even worse) your child seems to REFUSE to take a nap -- despite the fact that he or she seems tired. I can show you how to make naptime EASY for everyone!
Check Your OWN lack of sleep is starting to take a toll on you and your family. Studies prove that infant sleep problems are closely linked to postpartum depression. This is a non-drug way to help deal with those "baby blues..."

If any of this sounds like you and your family, then I’m here to help. And the good news is that, by working together, we can start seeing a dramatic improvement in the length and quality of your child’s sleep... after just a couple of nights!

Who Am I, And How Can I Help Your Family?

Pam NeaseMy name is Pam Nease. I’m the mother of
two beautiful children and I live right here in Kelowna, BC. When my first child was about 5 months old, he was waking every 2 hours during the night. It would take me about an hour to get him back to sleep, only to have to repeat the whole thing again a couple of hours later!

Exhausted, I looked everywhere for some real-life, practical solutions to my son’s sleep problems. Friends and family, doctors and nurses... They all offered sympathy and advice, but nobody would actually tell me how to solve the problem!

Finally, I met with Dana Obleman, best-selling creator of “The Sleep Sense Program,” who has helped more than 20,000 families solve the very problems I was having with my son. After just a few nights of following this simple, step-by-step system, my son was falling asleep at 7 p.m., and waking up happy and refreshed at 7:30 a.m.

My son’s transformation made such an impact on me that I eventually made the decision to dedicate my professional life to helping families like yours in the Kelowna area!

After completing a comprehensive training program with Dana Obleman, I’ve been licensed as the only Sleep Sense™ consultant in the Okanagan and Kootenay area... and my goal is to help parents like you quickly and easily solve your child’s sleep problems.

Here’s what a recent client named Jennifer had to say:

Dear Pam,

You have been amazing.  It is only day three and I feel like everything in our house has changed... including my confidence as a parent! It is truly extraordinary!  I hate to sound so dramatic, but it really feels like a miracle! It has been such a pleasure being your client, and it's really exciting to know that you are out there changing so many lives.

Thanks again for everything,

Jennifer E.

"Will This Work For My Child?"

The reason the methods I teach work so well is that they are customized for YOUR family!

We all know that every child is different, so it only makes sense that what worked for one baby might not necessarily be the best solution for yours. (For example, some children will settle more easily when a parent is in their room with them... and another child might not be able to fall asleep at all until they are left alone.)

That’s why I work closely with you to make sure that the plan we develop for your child fits for your family. That means not only do we take into account your child’s personality, we also come up with a plan that fits your parenting style. This is extremely important, because – as a parent – you simply aren’t going to be committed to a plan that you don’t feel comfortable with. Makes sense, right?

Here's Exactly How I Can Help:

Because I am committed to helping as many parents as possible in the interior of BC, I’ve put together a couple of different packages designed to fit just about every budget:

Option #1 – Private consultation:

We'll meet in your home (or by telephone, if you prefer) and discuss your child's sleep difficulties in detail. Then, we’ll decide together what approach to solving these problems you are most comfortable with, and then come up with a detailed sleep plan that you can start implementing right away.

I provide my private consultation clients with a very high level of pro-active telephone and e-mail support (meaning I'll be calling you daily when you first start putting your plan into place to ensure that everything is going smoothly.) Here's a complete summary of what's included:

1. A preliminary evaluation. This is a comprehensive questionnaire about your child's sleep habits and routines that you'll fill out prior to our meeting. (Having this information in advance helps us make the most of our time together.)
2. A private, 90 minute consultation in your home where we'll discuss strategies, troubleshoot possible problems, and learn how to address bedtime, naptime, nightwakings, or any other specific issues you might be dealing with.
3. A detailed, fully customized sleep plan that I will prepare for you after the conclusion of our meeting.
4. Four follow-up telephone calls during the first week following the consultation. These follow-up calls typically last about 15 minutes, and we'll use this time to deal with any setbacks you might be having or answer any general questions.
5. One week of unlimited e-mail support. After your four follow-up telephone calls have been used, you still have an additional week of unlimited e-mail support. I'll give you my private e-mail address, so that you can send me any lingering questions you might have.

The cost for an in-home consultation is just $425, and includes everything listed above. To book a consultation, please call (250) 575-6988 or e-mail pamneasesleep@gmail.com.

Option #2: Group Seminar

Attending a Sleep Sense™ seminar provides a comfortable environment where a small group of parents get together and learn how to solve their children's sleep problems.

You'll get to share experiences with other parents who are facing some of the same challenges as you... and then develop a personalized sleep plan that will give your child the tools needed to finally start sleeping through the night (and taking long, restful naps during the day.)

Here's a brief outline of what you can expect during the seminar:

All seminar clients will receive one week of personal e-mail support with me. This is a great way to get fast answers to any questions that come up, as my policy is to respond to all e-mails within one business day (and usually much sooner!)

The cost to attend a group seminar is just $150, including the personal e-mail support. To inquire about dates and reserve your space at an upcoming seminar, please call (250) 575-6988 or e-mail pamneasesleep@gmail.com.

Here's How To Get A FREE
15-Minute Consultation Today!

In my experience, the best way to decide if I can help you and your family is to spend a few minutes talking on the telephone, which is why I'm currently offering a FREE 15-minute telephone evaluation of your child's sleep habits.

Just give me a call at (250) 575-6988. I'd be happy to talk to you about your child's sleep problems and answer any questions you might have. (If you call outside of office hours or if you get my answering service, please just leave a message with your name and number, and I'll be sure to get back to you promptly.)

I look forward to speaking with you!

To healthy sleep ,

The Five Steps to Getting
Your Baby To Sleep Through The Night!

Hi Pam,

I'm blown away - I can't believe this is the same baby! Jad and I are happy to report that we can now do the nap/bedtime routine, tuck Mya into her bed, close the door and walk away. I can put her to bed and go clean the kitchen and make dinner, talk on the phone and she eventually goes to sleep. She plays and babbles for about 15-20 minutes until she finds that sweet comfy spot and then drifts off.

She sleeps 11-12 hours and is having 2-3 hour naps in the morning and 1-1.5 hour naps in the afternoon. Your program has saved our sanity!

Thank you!!!!

Kira, Jad and Mya Peachland, BC

Hi Pam,

Thank you so much for your support and guidance over the past week after your seminar as I implemented the sleep sense program with Cole. It has already made a world of difference and I'm happy to say that he has now had four nights in a row without nightwakings (11-11.5 hrs sleep). Naps are also coming along but less consistent. I feel comfortable continuing on my own from now on.

I will definitely be recommending your Sleep Sense Program and services to my friends.

Take care and thanks again,

Hi Pam,

Just needed to send you a quick celebratory note. It's only Day 4 and Will did it - he slept through that old elusive night!!! 6:30pm to 6:30am. The chocolate sprinkles on top was that he did a 1.5 hour nap today! Will rocks! Pam rocks!

Dear Pam,

Everything feels so much better Pam. I really cannot thank you enough for seeing our family through this process with Andrew (4 months). We will definitely be back in touch regarding our daughter Grace who is now 4.

I really do see the sleep training as a necessary part of our job as her parents. Thank you for giving us the knowledge and tools to tackle this tough parenting challenge. I would recommend your services to anyone serious about making a change for the better in their child's sleep habits. Please feel free to use me as a reference for anyone considering this!

Hello Fellow Fathers,

Don't wait -- hire Pam immediately! It's the best money I have EVER spent!

Initially, when my wife approached me about hiring a sleep specialist, I dismissed it. I felt that A) we had not exhausted our other options B) I didn't know any better C) it was a lot of money.  However, once we actually called Pam, I was at that point where I was willing to try anything.

I felt we had exhausted all other options and I was very worried about my wife's health and my job performance. Looking back now, I wish we had called Pam sooner.  My greatest fear when we hired Pam was that it would not work and we would still be sleepless and now out $400 dollars.  I really had no idea what we would have done had it not worked out. I was very sceptical because everything else we had tried prior to Pam had never worked.

I was hoping that our son would simply outgrow his sleep issues but not until he was much older and we could reason with him. We simply couldn't wait for that as my wife and I were too far gone. After working with Pam -- in the end -- I felt like it was magic.  I was truly incredulous, and of course thrilled that we were getting so much more sleep.

Don't waste another minute deciding if this is a good idea or not -- it is! You won't regret hiring Pam to help you and your family.

Dear Pam,

After many long years of trying to start our family we were blessed with the arrival of our baby girl Megan. Unfortunately the elation soon turned to despair as she was diagnosed with colic and reflux. This was the start of a downward spiral that we couldn't seem to get out of... She stopped gaining weight and was labelled "failure to thrive".

At 5 1/2 months she was only 13lb 9oz. Each and every night she would wake, sometimes every hour or two hours at most. This continued into the daytime where she would not nap and if she did it was only for 30-45 minutes each time. She was always overtired and fussy. She was also diagnosed with a cow's milk protein intolerance which complicated things further. At her young age she had already had a family doctor, pediatrician, dermatologist, allergist and nutritionist allocated to her. I don't mind admitting at times we did wonder exactly what we had done.

Both my husband and I were severely sleep deprived and unable to enjoy this wonderful gift we had been given. The days were exhausting and the night-times were something to dread. A friend had told me about the Sleepsense program and one desperate e-mail to you changed our lives forever.

With her weight concerns and other issues I was apprehensive about starting the program, but having had our consultation with you my fears soon diminished. You have been there for us right from the start and throughout the entire program. With your reassurance, gentle guidance and support to help us through we noticed a dramatic difference within the first few days.

We now have a wonderful, happy and playful little girl who is a joy to be around. She eats more than ever during the day, has two long naps a day and sleeps peacefully through the night. We have no more fussy times in the evening and Megan goes to bed wide awake, cuddles and talks with her blankie and falls into a long and deep sleep.

We cannot thank you enough for giving us our daughter that we had always longed for and helping us to give her the gift of sleep. Words seem inadequate to thank you for all you've done and we would wholeheartedly recommend you to everyone!

Our sincere thanks.

Gaynor, Kevin & Megan Hart
